We at Lantern languages have spent years scouring the web looking for the best content for you to use to study Mandarin. Then in late 2021 we were gifted with the full year one Chinese Primary School syllabus. This series of videos were made to help children having to stay away from their classroooms as a result of Covid-10 lockdowns across China in 2021. We believe that by following this course you will be provided with the perfect introduction to the Chinese writing system, and also how to use pinyin to ensure you are pronouncing each word correctly.

To do this we have provided a translation of the video series 国家中小学课程资源 (guójiā zhōng xiǎoxué kèchéng zīyuán), which translates as National Primary and Secondary School Curriculum Resources. These are a series of videos based on the content of the compulsory textbooks for students working their way through the Chinese education system.
