In the same way as English employs figurative language to colour or speech and writing Chinese uses nature, body parts and the senses to make their language interesting and memorable. In fact because the Chinese language uses characters that sometimes look like the thing they represent in many ways it is easier to form and remember figurative language in Chinese.
